Brent Fields
Chief Executive Officer
Brent joined the BBBS agency in 2008, after nine years of service as a Vice-President with the American Heart Association. He brings more than 25 years of management experience to this role including service in the areas of education, healthcare and counseling. Brent holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, a Master’s Degree in Education, a Clinical Education Residency in Counseling and certification training in Health Promotion Management. He has been a BBBS Mentor for two years and is a member of the BBBS 2015 Society, a major donor program. Brent and his wife are the parents of three children and they've lived in the Round Rock area since 2006.

Gil Levy
VP Programs
Gil joined the BBBS agency in 2001 and provides strategic and operational leadership of the agency’s mentoring programs. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and brings more than 15 years of experience with at-risk youth and program development to his role. Gil has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, both from The University of Texas at Austin. Under his direction, the agency has been recognized each year since 2006 for program excellence by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Gil and his wife are the parents of two young boys who keep them on their toes.

Melanie Chasteen
VP Marketing & Communications
Melanie joined the BBBS agency in 2005 and leads the agency’s marketing, communication and recruitment strategy. She brings more than 15 years experience in marketing communications and public relations to her role. Melanie earned her Bachelor’s of Journalism Degree with a concentration in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been a BBBS mentor for five years to her Little Sister Patrice. Melanie and her husband live with their young son and old dog in Central Austin.

Alida Tallman
VP Development
Alida joined the BBBS agency in 2009 and leads the agency’s fund development strategy. She brings more than 10 years of nonprofit professional experience and a proven track record of high performance in the development arena. Alida’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Rice University and a Master of Public Affairs Degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. She has spent most of her life in Austin and enjoys eating out and spending time with her family.

Holly Raymond
VP Finance and Operations
Holly joined the BBBS agency in 2011 and leads the agency's finance and operations functions. She brings a decade of experience in advising nonprofit organizations in accounting practices and operations performance to this role. Holly earned both a Masters in Professional Accounting Degree and a Bachelors in Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She and her husband reside in Kyle with their three children where she also serves on the board of the Hays CISD Education Foundation. She enjoys music, sports and the company of a good book.
