Holiday Party kicks off the season for more than 300 Littles

There is simply no better way to start the holidays than to see our kids celebrating with food, fun and of course – toys! More than 300 Little Brothers and Sisters came to this year’s Holiday Party. Bigs and Littles had a great time making holiday crafts — and each child received a gift thanks to our toy drive participants and sponsors.

Huge thanks to our friends at Padgett Stratemann and RBFCU for making this event possible, and to our toy drive participants: Alpha Phi Alpha, Dell, For the City Network, Gamma Alpha Omega, Gerson Lehrman, KForce, Inc., O’Connell Robertson, South Austin Rotary, and URS Corporation.

An RBFCU team member helps a Little Brother choose a toy.

The Holiday Party has been a standing tradition for more than 20 years, and we’re looking forward to several more decades of creating winter magic for our Littles. If you’d like to host a toy drive or get involved with next year’s event, we’re always welcoming new friends and partners. Just email our events manager, Kate Garrett, at KGarrett@bigmentoring.org and she’ll give you the details.
